The RUB Welcome Center offers various activities and events.

HGI offers a variety of events and activities, among those e.g. the following:

Brews & Bytes
- After-work beer (open to all employees of the faculty)
- Organized by the chair for Symmetric Cryptography
HGI International Social Club
- Get-together and social events to bring together the international community and local members of the faculty e.g. board games, movie night
- Contact the International Social Club Organising Team or join the Whatsapp group for updates
Regulars' Table: Women in IT Security - ITS better toGATHER! (by CASA)
- Networking and get-together for female researchers
- Takes place every second Thursday in MC 5/131 at 4 PM

Language Courses

The Department of German as a Foreign Language is offering a new series of courses for all international RUB employees (“Communicating successfully in everyday university life - in German” and “Communicate with administration and university institutions - in German”)
