On this year’s IACR CRYPTO, the Cluster of Excellence CASA is well represented. Numerous scientist will present their papers in August in Santa Barbara, USA, on public-key cryptography, password-authenticated key exchange and symmetric ciphers and further topics.
The conference is one of the most important events in the field of cryptography and was established in 1981. Since the Corona days, the conference will be held this year for the first time in presence.

The Cross-Disciplinary Projects are an integral part of our CASA Graduate School. PHDs here collaborate for at least 6 weeks with a research group from another CASA PI researching a cross-disciplinary research problem. Interdisciplinarity is one of the core elements of the Cluster of Excellence designed and intended to be both taught and learned here.
