At the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security (HGI) and our Cluster of Excellence "CASA: Cybersecurity in the Age of Large-Scale Attackers", we are looking for a student assistant to support us in the area of PR and marketing for 8 hours per week as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- Website: You will support us in maintaining our web presences hgi.rub.de as well as casa.rub.de (German & English).
- Social Media: You design creative posts for our social media channels and keep an eye on the monitoring of the channels.
- Editorial: You write articles for our websites, newsletters and other media.
- Events: You support us in the planning, organization, execution and follow-up of events.
- Clippings: You create media clippings around our press coverage.
- Helping hand: You support our office team with general office organization.
Your profile:
- Recruitment requirement: You are a registered student at a German university or college.
- Joy of writing: You have first experiences with websites and social media (Twitter, Linkedin) and enjoy writing texts about our research work, outreach projects and events.
- Organizational skills: Whether it's smaller events or larger ones, you keep track of the big picture and priorities.
- Website maintenance: Ideally, you already have some experience with content management systems (ideally: Typo3).
- Language skills: You have a good knowledge of German and English.
- Working style: Reliability, initiative, thoughtfulness and attention to detail are important to us!
