A degree in computer science promises excellent prospects for the future. To help you make the most of them, we support you in making contact with attractive companies and organizations in the IT sector at an early stage.

At the IT.Connect, you will learn everything about (part-time) jobs, internships, theses and entry-level opportunities and get to know the industry and its challenges through exciting insights. You will establish personal contacts with company representatives and build up your own professional network. IT.Connect always takes place in the winter semester.

All the latest information about IT.Connect is always available here! You can register here: https://informatik-rub.de/it-connect/anmeldung/

What?

THE company contact fair for Applied Computer Science & Information Technology - internships, thesis, part-time jobs and networking with delicious food!

When?

8 November 14-16 h, online via Zoom

Visit the companies of your choice in their Zoom breakout sessions from the comfort of your own home. Here you will learn everything about the companies and the entry opportunities. All companies can design their breakout session in a way that suits them, for example with a case study, a report from everyday work, a Q&A or a mixed format. To make it easier for you to choose the breakout sessions, we provide videos of the companies beforehand.

November 9, 2-6 p.m., presence day at the UFO

Relax and deepen your impressions of the previous day with a delicious meal and an after-work drink - the Meet & Greet is much more of a social event than just a job fair. Get to know the representatives of the IT departments personally, clarify open questions and let yourself be inspired by the corporate culture of the participating companies.

For whom?

For all students, alumni, PhD students who are looking for job opportunities or are interested in a career in computer science and want to get to know companies personally and in terms of content.

General note: In case of using gender-assigning attributes we include all those who consider themselves in this gender regardless of their own biological sex.
