"Resolving Complexity and Strengthening Cyber Security" is the overarching theme of the 31st Cyber Security Day, which will take place on site at Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) on 04 May 2022 from 10:00 to 15:30. The event is organized by the Alliance for Cyber Security of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) in joint cooperation with the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security (HGI) at RUB.
The event will focus on the question of how small and medium-sized enterprises can succeed in making cyber security easy. What challenges do these companies face, when they want to implement security measures? What solutions are there to avoid losing sight of the big picture? These are some of the questions, that will be answered at the Cyber Security Day.
Experts will shed light on the topic from different perspectives in lectures, workshops and panel discussions, so that at the end of the day, participants will know which first steps to take for more cyber security.
The keynote address at the event will be given by Arne Schönbohm, President of the BSI, who will talk about the current cyber threat situation in Germany.
Further information on the program and the respective presentations and workshops can be found here.
Registration for the event is open until April 28, 2022.
