“Made in Germany” is shorthand for quality – and that is equally true for IT security in Germany. The German IT-Security Prize, which will be awarded by the Horst Görtz Foundation for the seventh time in 2018, aims to promote innovation in the highly specialised area of IT security.
The Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security (HGI), located at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, has assumed responsibility for organising the prize on behalf of the Foundation.
