ITS.Connect 2019

HGI's jobfair for the IT security sector was again a complete success...

Aware7 und VMRay sind zwei von rund 20 Start-Ups von Cube5, dem Start-Up-Inkubator des Horst Görtz Instituts für IT-Sicherheit.

An der ITS.Connect-Anzeigenwand konnten Studierende und andere Interessierte sich über offene Stellen, Praktika-Angebote oder Möglichkeiten zur Abschlussarbeit in Firmen informieren. 

Studierende tauschen sich mit Mitarbeitern der ausstellenden Unternehmen bei den Mini-Case-Studies über Fallbeispiele aus der Arbeitspraxis aus.

Alumni des Horst Görtz Instituts für IT-Sicherheit trugen einen roten Punkt an ihren Namensschildern. Sie stellten den Studierenden ihren aktuellen Arbeitgeber vor.

Einen Spitzen-Rekord verzeichnet die ITS.Connect im Bereich der ausstellenden Unternehmen: Mehr als 60 Firmen waren in diesem Jahr vor Ort.

Gut besucht war die ITS.Connect 2019 mit über 400 Studierenden und Absolventen. Die Teilnahme war wie in jedem Jahr kostenlos.

In lockerer Atmosphäre kamen Interessierte leicht ins Gespräch mit den Mitarbeitern der ausstellenden Unternehmen und Start-Ups.

For the twelfth time already, the ITS.Connect job fair of the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security (HGI) took place on Friday, 24 May at the event centre of the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB). The company contact fair is specialized in the field of IT security and is therefore unique in Germany. More than 60 companies and start-ups active throughout Germany informed interested students and graduates about their offers, vacancies and corporate culture in a relaxed atmosphere. More than 400 visitors took the opportunity to exchange ideas at ITS.Connect 2019.

The mini-case studies, which took place for the first time, also met with a positive response from both students and companies. In a relaxed exchange, company employees presented case studies from their day-to-day work that had to be solved.

The next ITS.Connect will take place on 5 May 2020.
