On June 15, 2023, interested students can participate in an information afternoon about computer science programs. In addition to an exciting presentation by the Dean of Studies, Prof. Tobias Glasmachers, on the topic of AI, there will also be mini-sessions on "How Chips in Our Digital Devices Can Be Hacked" and "What Cats Have to Do with IT Security" with Prof. Karola Marky and doctoral student Markus Krausz. All interested individuals are also invited to take part in a tour of the MC building and a tour of the campus. Current IT students will be available for questions.
The Faculty of Computer Science kindly requests a brief informal registration by June 9 via email to informatik-fakultaet(at)rub.de. Spontaneous participation may also be possible.
The event takes place as part of the "Long Evening of Student Counseling" at RUB. There will be information about all study programs at Ruhr-Universität, as well as trial lectures, laboratory visits, and informational presentations on the RUB campus from 2:00 PM to 8:00 pm. Additionally, there will be a chill-out area with live music and refreshments starting from 5:00 pm.
