The startup QuoScient strikes at this years’ IT-Security Pitch.
Five Minutes for each start up, until they were asked challenging questions about their business model for further 300 seconds. The top-class jury didn’t make it easy for the startups. The team of QuoScient took the win over five competing young entrepreneurs from Germany, Spain and Belgium.
The Jury
The well-known jury of experts from science and economy included Oliver Weimann (ruhr:HUB), Dr. Carsten Willems (VMRay), Dr. Tilman Frosch (G DATA Advanced Analytics), Timo Gendrullis (ESCRYPT), Prof. Dr. Christof Paar (Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security) and Willi Mannheims (eCAPITAL entrepreneurial Partners). Team, business model, pitch performance and growth expectations were taken into consideration for the jury’s decision.

The first-stage startup from Frankfurt am Main has developed a product that is stemming from many years of experience and competences of cyber defense specialists from sectors facing especially heightened risk. Fabien Dombard (CEO) himself has more than 15 years of experience in the security industry within technical and management tool. Co-founder Ioannis Bizimis (CFO) has more than eight years of experience in the financial operations sector. The team's collective experience and knowledge has been engineered into the QuoLab platform, which provides the ability to produce automated collection, analysis and dissemination. Ticket for RuhrSummit
For the first time, there was a price rewarded in the third T-Security Pitch. QuoScient will present its company at RuhrSummit and therefore receive exclusive entry for pitch competition and hold a free booth at startup expo.
