In the jubilee year of 2024, the Horst Görtz Foundation will be awarding the German IT Security Prize for the 10th time on November 7, 2024 - registration for the event is now open.
The Horst Görtz Foundation honors the most innovative cybersecurity solutions and concepts in Germany. The winning team will receive prize money of EUR 100,000.
The award ceremony will take place at a joint event with the cyber security innovation conference organized by ATHENE and Bitkom in Darmstadt.
The event will begin with a welcoming address by Ms. Nancy Faeser, Federal Minister of the Interior and Community, who has assumed the patronage of the award and the event.
The innovation conference will address the topics of cyber innovation power for Germany, security analyses and architectures and security for infrastructures - infrastructures for security. Numerous renowned representatives from politics, science, industry and start-ups will speak in the sessions.
Nine teams have qualified for the final round of the 10th German IT Security Award - they cover the entire spectrum of cyber security. Be there when the best cybersecurity solutions are awarded and network with top-class experts from the German cybersecurity landscape.
The award ceremony is organized and hosted by the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity ATHENE in Darmstadt on behalf of the Horst Görtz Foundation and in cooperation with Bitkom e.V. and the Ruhr University Bochum.
