Celebrating 20 years of HGI and the founding of the Faculty of Computer Science at the Ruhr University Bochum

Two historic foundations, one joint celebration: On May 10, 2023, we celebrated milestones in IT research and education at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum with the 20-year anniversary of the Horst Görtz Institut for IT Security and the foundation of the Faculty of Computer Science.

Speakers included the Deputy Minister-President of North Rhine-Westphalia and Minister for Economics, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy (NRW), Mona Neubaur, and the investigative journalist Svea Eckert (NDR/Tagesschau).
