On July 1 at 7 p.m., cybersecurity experts from the CASA Cluster of Excellence at the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security and the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy will reveal the hidden dangers of the internet in a way that is understandable for non-experts in a relaxed bar setting. The third edition of the CyBARsecurity event series will be hosted by Innovationen anne Theke, a project of Bochum Economic Development.
The topics of the next edition are:
- "Can I Trust Cryptocurrencies?" by Clara Schneidewind (MPI-SP)
- "Side-channel attacks: When Hackers Read Between the Lines" by Dr.-Ing. Pascal Sasdrich
Whether you're an IT expert or a casual internet user: We invite all interested parties to take an exclusive look behind the scenes of cyber security research in Bochum. Thanks to the kind support of Bochum Economic Development, admission and drinks are free. The event will be held in German.
Due to limited seating, registration is required at https://casa.rub.de/veranstaltungen/cybarsecurity.
