Guided by the motto “Insight must precede application”, scientists at Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP), whose founding director CASA speaker Christof Paar is, perform basic research on topics related to security and privacy. The Karl Heinz Beckurts Prize recognizes scientific achievements that have been crucial for developing innovative applications in industry. This year, the award goes to Christof Paar.
