Bochum-based cybersecurity startup ENTRYZERO has successfully closed a seed funding round led by neoteq ventures. Additional investors include ATIMON Invest GmbH, konus invest GmbH, NRW.BANK, as well as several entrepreneurs and business angels.
Founded in 2024, ENTRYZERO is developing an AI-powered platform for Threat Exposure Management, helping organizations continuously monitor their digital attack surface, prioritize security risks, and implement mitigation measures more efficiently. The platform integrates data from more than 50 security solutions and uses artificial intelligence to automate tasks that have traditionally required significant manual effort.
The company was founded by Dr. Mohamad Sbeiti and Samet Gökbayrak, who recognized early on that simply providing more security data and additional dashboards does not adequately address the challenges faced by security teams. While these tools increase visibility into vulnerabilities, they also add complexity for professionals who are often already operating at capacity.
To address this challenge, ENTRYZERO developed its AI agent, WINGMAN, which takes a more proactive approach.
"Our software independently analyzes security-relevant information, evaluates risks, and supports both the prioritization and implementation of appropriate mitigation measures," explains co-founder Mohamad Sbeiti. "This enables organizations to allocate resources more effectively in Threat Exposure Management and respond more quickly to critical security events."
The successful seed funding round highlights the company's strong growth potential while reinforcing Bochum's position as a leading hub for cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
"ENTRYZERO is an excellent example of the innovation that emerges when outstanding research meets entrepreneurial ambition. This successful seed investment marks an important milestone for the company and sends a strong signal for Bochum as a cybersecurity hub. We are proud to have supported the team throughout its journey and look forward to continuing to accompany its future growth," says Thomas Würstlein, Transfer and PR Manager at Cube 5.
